On July 26th, the Chiral Standard Impurity Joint Laboratory of QCS and Guangzhou R&Chiral was inaugurated at the QCS Standard Material R&D Center. Chairman Juncai Lai, General Manager Fuqiang Qiu, Technical Director Dr. Yang Li, Sales Director Yangjin Xu of QCS, as well as Chairman and CEO Zhiping Mao, Vice President Lin Ding, and Sales Director Hua Liang of Guangzhou R&Chiral attended the unveiling ceremony, marking a substantial step forward in the quality inspection.

Guangzhou Research& Creative Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a leading company specializing in the research, development, and manufacturing of chiral chromatography columns and chiral chromatography fillers. In the domain of chiral separation materials and chiral chromatography columns, Guangzhou R&Chiral stands out as the sole Chinese brand with specialized operations.

The research and development of chiral chromatographic columns and chiral chromatographic fillers in China commenced relatively late due to significant technical barriers and restrictions. Consequently, over 90% of the global market is dominated by imported manufacturers. Notably, the quality testing standards for chiral drugs in the United States, Japan, and even the Chinese Pharmacopoeia predominantly specify the use of imported brand products.

The Chiral Standard Impurity Joint Laboratory, co-founded by the QCS R&D Center and Guangzhou R&Chiral, aims to promote the utilization of domestically produced chiral chromatography products and establish a chiral standard testing system tailored for Chinese requirements. This initiative aligns with the strategic objectives of both parties as leaders in China's chiral chromatography field and supports their pursuit of significant developmental advancements.

At the symposium following the unveiling ceremony, both parties agreed that through the collaborative establishment of the Chiral Standard Impurity Joint Laboratory, this innovative cooperation model will leverage the combined strengths of both sides in talent, technology, instrumentation, and methodological research. This collaboration aims to continuously enrich and enhance China's chiral standard separation database and accelerate the domestic substitution of imported products in the field of chiral chromatography, thereby contributing significantly to the advancement of pharmaceutical development.

Simultaneously, both parties will further deepen their collaboration in research and development through enhanced exchanges. By strategically leveraging resource planning and complementary strengths, we aim to significantly promote scientific and technological innovation and the effective transformation of research outcomes. We will drive the revision and high-quality development of chiral testing standards in China together.
